Recognition
THE GOLDEN BISHOP AWARDS are the Ohio Wesleyan version of the “Oscars.” This recognition event has been held (under various titles) since 1987 and exists to recognize our students for outstanding achievements in leadership and community service. Typically held in April, awards are given to the Outstanding First-Year Student, Oustanding Club/Organization, Outstanding Program (by a Club/Organization), and to the student who best exemplifies the Spirit of OWU, just to name a few. Those students recognized receive an actual “Golden Bishop!”
